Build master pages with ASP.NET 1.1
Master pages are one of the most anticipated and coolest features of upcoming ASP.NET 2.0.This feature enables you to share common page template across the web site using one file .Dino even wrote the whole book on it and other features, and there are even on line resources on it. One thing though: you might want to mention that when putting the panel in the web page, if it has a style attribute with "POSITION: absolute" it should be removed...

Thank you for this web cast. It was a helpful demonstration regarding the master page in ASP .NET 1.1.
The final page is rendering fine. but all the control names are prefixed with _ctl0_ something like this. because of the once the page is rendered the events are not firing up
ok great idea thanks i used it,
but i have a problem the submit button dose not cause validation any mor even with the attribute causevalidation=true
